Matchbox Shrine dolls

This is a paper doll with a matchbox attached to it. I made the body and dress to fit the head image. She has brads on the arms and legs. I hid them with her dress.

I then took the matchbox and cut one side on the top so it could open like a door. I then decorated the box and the match tray separately. The tray is glued to the box. A ribbon is glued from the back to the matchbox so it could be tied to close the door. The finished matchbox is then glued to the paper doll. All my collage images came from Ten Two Studios.
