Here is the journal I made for my trip to Spain. I cut down an encyclopedia, which happen to be the letter "S". My stamp says - "Do something creative every day", my mantra. My collage pieces came from Ten Two Studios from several mini color collage sheets. I used gel medium to adhere them to the book cover.
The top picture is Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, waiting to board our airplane. All the baggage carts were stacked up in front of my window, everything was blue and white.
The picture below in a view from one of the entrances into the Plaza Mayor in Madrid, Spain. The plaza is huge area for all sorts of gathering, eating and shopping. The umbrellas are open for local restaurants to seat. They magically pull out tables if their area is too full.
The picture below is a view of the narrow streets of Toledo, Spain behind the cathedral. The streets are so narrow cars have to pull in their side mirrors so they do not get broken off.
This is a picture of our group that went to Spain in front of the castle in Segovia. I was told everyone who leaves Segovia stops here for a photo opt.
This folded house came from Ten Two Studios along with all the Victorian images. The background is book pages from a book I was altering. I added some buttons and other paper cutouts. I distressed it with inks and chalks. It makes a fun little row of houses that sit nice on a shelf.
