Moleskin Project 2009/2010 Sarah's book
This is Sarah's book, she had "Fairy Tales in the Dark" for her theme. I chose Cinderella. I combined some Harry Clarke and Tim Burton influence on this spread. Her book is very cool because everyone is making their art piece flow together as one continuous piece of art. I used some Dr. Martin's watercolor for the pumpkin. The color really pops.

My favorite shoes
This is an artist trading card made for Marita for a 1/1 swap at Illustrated ATCs. One of her favorite subjects is shoes. I love shoes too. This is a style of shoe that I like the best, too bad I can't wear them so I live vicariously through my art. It is an ink and marker drawing with glitter painted over the shoes to add some extra bling.

Fans @ Art 42
These are two fans I made for a swap at Art 42. The top one is a daVinci theme and the bottom one is French hats. The collage sheets came from Ten Two Studios, Lenardo collage sheet and Les Chapeaux tag set. The bottom fan also has a flower punch that is a dimensional punch. I colored in the flowers with markers.

Tag Book - House Theme
These are tags I made for a swap I am in at ATCs for All. The tags have a house theme. I have some vintage photos I scanned then copied, used them for my images. I ran out out ideas and just drew on two of them. I have several tag books from swaps and the returns I get back will make a nice addition.

Halloween Hangies
This Halloween hangie was made for a swap. The image is from Ten Two Studios,Witchy labels, with dictionary page, vellum, wired ribbon and beaded trim.
I made the hangie below for me. The images are from Ten Two Studios, vintage Little Halloween, and some Martha Stewart Halloween cut outs I hoarded back from last year. I love the moon because it glows in the dark.

A Jolly Halloween
I love children board books. They have very sturdy surfaces to work on. This piece was published last year in Somersett studio's Holiday and celebration magazine. I plan to post a different Halloween artwork every week this month.
I found a book that had house shapes for its pages. I took the whole thing apart and configured it to be bi-fold. One side is for more for children with black cats and pumkins. Tags have recipes for goodies from my child hood Halloween, popcorn balls and caramel apples. The other side is more grown up.
