Accidental art

I made this chunky house page using several collage sheets from Ten Two Studios. After I cut out the windows from an old dictionary I used some ink and sprayed over it to make nice effect.
Now you see where I sprayed the ink for the windows for the above artwork and now it is the background for this artwork. I drew this with black sharpie marker. It is in a little frame with a magnet for a fridge, file cabinet or some other metal surface.

Birds and more birds

My art of lately has taken a bird theme. I found some switch plates that were clear for inserting wallpaper. I made some bird art instead.
This little book originally was a book for photographs. I glued on my hand drawn bird on a background I painted with embellishments added. Inside are other drawings and a collage.
I bought a ton of canvases on sale at my favorite art store. So it is about time I used them. Here is a little collage I made with a real bird feather. I used gel medium to cover it and all the paper collage bits.

Runs with Scissors Badges

I have always loved military badges and ribbons. I made these badges from upholstery trim, bottle caps and collage images from Ten Two Studios. They have "runs with scissors" on them. A cheeky little art badge.

Sharpie Cami

My friend Lisa posted this link to me http://blog.theodesign.com/2010/04/armed-with-markers.html

From there I tried my hand with Sharpie markers and some stamping on this cami. I think I might have to invest in a fabric marker.

Matchbook art

The artist Michael De Meng has always inspired me. I was lucky enough to take a class with him a few years ago to learn some of his techniques. This collage was made with a matchbook mounted on some wood I found in my neighbors trash pile. The little image is from Ten Two Studios "Little Diversity" collage sheet.
