Moleskin Project 2009/2010

The theme for this moleskin was "Famous/Infamous Blondes or White Haired People". The book was pretty far along and some great people were already chosen. I chose some 60's icons, Doris Day, Kim Novak, Goldie Hawn and of course Andy Warhol.

Moleskin Project 2009/2010

This is Lisa B's book. The theme is whimsical women. I chose to do little girls because they are very whimsical in their own right.

Moleskin Project 2009/2010 Sarah's book

This is Sarah's book, she had "Fairy Tales in the Dark" for her theme. I chose Cinderella. I combined some Harry Clarke and Tim Burton influence on this spread. Her book is very cool because everyone is making their art piece flow together as one continuous piece of art. I used some Dr. Martin's watercolor for the pumpkin. The color really pops.

Moleskin Project 2009/2010 Viv's book

It is rainy and cool right now and it was a good day to do art. This is Viv's book. Her theme is hands, I am not a very good hand artist.
These are hand shadow puppets for my four page spread. The fun makes up for my lack of talent.

Moleskin Project 2009/2010 Sal's Book

These are the pages I made for Sal's book in the Moleskin swap I am in at http://www.illustratedatcs.com. Her theme is Dia De Los Muetros, "Day of the Dead".
I could not fit all four pages on my scanner bed so I had to make two scans. The church in the top panel is from Ocoptec, Morelos, Mexico.

Moleskin Project 2009/2010

I am in a Moleskin Project at IllustratedATCs.com. There are eight artist involved in this round robin. My theme is "scapes", landscapes, city scapes, office scapes, water scapes, space scapes, you get the idea. We are to work in four panels in each others' book. I want my pages to flow together so it looks like one huge mural when it is finished.

These are my pages for my book. Unfortunately I could not get all four pages to fit my printer and some of the details are right up against the folds of the book. I made three page scans so you could see all the pages. I will post my art as I work in other books that come my way.
